Bulgaria against Greece in the opening match of EuroVolley 2021 for women in Plovdiv!
The program of the European Championship from August 18 to September 4 is clear!

Bulgaria welcomes Greece on August 18 at 20:30 in the first match of the European Women's Volleyball Championship in the "Kolodruma" hall in Plovdiv.

The European Volleyball Confederation (CEV) has officially announced the Eurovolley 2021 program for women. The Old Continent Championship will be held from August 18th to September 4th in Bulgaria, Serbia, Croatia and Romania.

Plovdiv will host Group B matches, four 1/8 finals and two 1/4 finals. The Bulgarian girls, led by Ivan Petkov, fell into a group with Poland, Germany, the Czech Republic, Spain and Greece.

In the 1/8 finals, the first to fourth place winners in Group B meet the fourth to first place winners in Group D, respectively, Romania, Turkey, the Netherlands, Ukraine, Finland and Sweden.

Belgrade will host Group A matches (Serbia, Russia, Azerbaijan, France, Belgium, Bosnia and Herzegovina), four quarterfinals, two quarterfinals, semifinals, and medal distribution matches. Zadar will host the matches in Group C (Croatia, Italy, Switzerland, Hungary, Slovakia, Belarus), and Cluj-Napoca - in Group D.
