Opening of a traveling exhibition "River of Biodiversity"

On 08.08.2020 (Saturday) from 11:00 in the lobby of the Regional Natural History Museum - Plovdiv will be opened a thematic exhibition on the Maritsa River with an emphasis on its biological diversity within the Municipality of Plovdiv.
Come to see the masterfully made 11 realistic models of animals found along Maritsa River, the fascinating short video to the exhibition, the educational boards that will introduce you to the history, geography and ecology of the river. You will have the opportunity to get involved with proposals for solving some of the environmental problems of the Maritsa River. We will be happy to see you!
The exhibition "River of Biodiversity" is realized with the financial support of the Foundation "Plovdiv 2019" and the Municipality of Plovdiv under a project of the program "Heritage". The exibition will not stay long in the city of Plovdiv, on 15.08.2020 she will move to Burgas, and by the end of the year she will visit two more cities in the country.
The exhibition is possible thanks to the Department of Ecology and Environmental Protection at the Paisii Hilendarski University of Plovdiv, RAM - Plovdiv, RIM - Plovdiv, East Aegean Region Database, Bulgarian National Museum at the Bulgarian Academy of Sciences, Bulgarian Society for the Protection of Birds, Balkanka Association and Nikolai Gavazov. The project is part of the official program of Plovdiv - European Capital of Culture 2019.
