Rowing Canal - Plovdiv

The State Triathlon Championship will be held on August 15th and 16th in Plovdiv at the Rowing Canal. It will be attended by all nationally represented sports clubs, members of the Bulgarian Triathlon Association (BTA).
The competition will provide an opportunity for all triathlon fans to participate and compete with the best athletes in this sport. The beginning of the competition starts with swimming in the Rowing Canal, after that moving on to cycling and ends with running.

The program:

Day 1 - August 15

Accommodation, technical conference, briefing and exploration of the routes.

17:00 - 17:30 Press conference, Q&A with media and sponsors

17:30 - 18:30 The technical conference for the State Championship with the leaders of the sports clubs

18:30 - 19:30 Briefing for the open start (amateurs, connoisseurs)

Day 2 - August 16

Competition day - start of all age groups and open start.

DP - Main Distance - Men and Women (Group 5) + Open Start (Amateurs)

Start: 08:00 h.

The change zone opens at 07:15 h.

The change zone closes at 07:45 h.

Warm-up from 07:00 to 07:45 h.

Presentation - ranking of the competitors at 07:45 h.

* the 5th group (men and women) will be released first, then the participants in the open start. Starting intervals will be determined (3-5 minutes).

* In the open start there is a time limit for each segment (cutoff):

Swimming until 8:40 h. (40 minutes for 1500 meters)

Cycling until 10:10 h. (90 minutes for 40 km)

Running until 11:10 h. (60 minutes for 10 km)

A competitor who does not enter these times is directly eliminated from the competition.

DP - Main Distance - Boys and Girls (4th group)

Start: 12:00 h.

The change zone opens at 11:20 h.

The shift zone closes at 11:45 h.

Warm-up from 11:00 to 11:45 h.

Presentation-arrangement of the competitors: 07:50 h.

OFFICIAL AWARDING

Start: 14:00 - 14:30 h.

DP - Main Distance - Senior (3rd group) and Junior (2nd group)

Start: 14:30 h. (finish ~ 15:15 h.)

The shift area opens at 14:00 h.

The shift area closes at 14:30 h.

Warm-up from 13:30 to 14:30 h.

Presentation-arrangement of the competitors: 14:30 h.

Rewarding

DP - Main Distance - Children (Group 1) and Benjamin (Group 0)

Start: 16:00 h. (finish +/- 16:50 h.)

The change zone opens at 15:25 h.

The shift area closes at 15:50 h.

Warm-up from 15:00 to 15:50 h.

Presentation-arrangement of the competitors: 15:50 h.

Rewarding

* all participants will have to leave the necessary equipment at the designated place for each team in the change zone before the start of the first post.

* the transfer of posts will take place in a certain area.
