The children Railway is located on the foot of the Youth Hill. It was found on 23/09/1979 and since then it has been a real attraction for the children and their parents, both citizens and visitors of Plovdiv. Thousands of kids from the region keep the memory of their very first travelling by train on the Youth Hill. 

In 2007 the Railway was entirely reconstructed and given its present appearance. The train, which consists of an engine and three carriages, starts its journey from the Peoneer Station, which has a platform, two lines, as well as traffic lights. The duration of the trip is about 25 minutes. 

A number of attractions have been created all along the route, which is about 2 km long. During the journey you will cross a bridge, a cross level and pass a 50-meter-long tunel. When the train goes out of the tunel, there starts the favorite part of the little ones - a 125-meter-long accending trestle. Then the train stops at Panorama Station. Here the passengers have the opportunity to walk around the station and enjoy the breathtaking view on the hill, as well as take some photos. After the short break the train leaves back to the Pioneer Station. 

The Pioneer Station was renovated as well as the surrounding playgrounds. The railway is already accessible for children with disabilities.
