Solemn prayer , celebrated by His Eminence Metropolitan Nikolay of Plovdiv

Prayer and laying of wreaths and flowers on the monument of Gavril Krastevich in the courtyard of the temple with the participation of military personnel, clergy and citizens

11:30 a.m. – Memorial plaque of Major Raycho Nikolov (next to Roman Stadium Square)

Mary Boys Band concert

Favorite songs from the albums "Stranger Streets", "Only for you", "The Long Way to Home", "Happy Days" and "Keep Dreaming" and many more will be performed live on the open stage in front of the Plovdiv Municipality building. The group was formed 29 years ago, and today, after numerous concerts, musical appearances, fan meetings, albums, awards and the songs "Stranger Streets", "The Long Way Home" and "Sunflowers" in the music textbooks, the Mary Boys Band is one of the most successful and beloved groups in Bulgaria.

Reconstruction of the events of September 6, 1885 by the "Patriot" committee

The "Patriot" Committee will recreate the moment when the Unification becomes a fact, after a series of riots and the meeting of the Chardafon's riots from Golyamo Konare with the people of the Governor-General Gavril Krastevich. According to tradition, the proclamation of the Union will also be read.

7:45 p.m. – Regional History Museum, Union Hall

Presentation of the exhibition " Sandro - Prince Alexander von Battenberg. One European destiny"

8:30 p.m. - Union Square

Ceremonial inspection (fireworks) on the occasion of the 139th anniversary of the Unification of Bulgaria and the Feast of the City of Plovdiv

9:00 p.m. – St. "Ivan Vazov"

Second edition of Station Street Festival "Station Street" (05-08.09.2024)

The program of the Station festival Street features exceptional musical experiences with headliners Ostava, Teodosiy Spasov Folk Quintet, Villagers of Ioannina City , Smallman and Haig 's trio Yazdzhiyan . "Ostava" will offer their emblematic alternative rock sound, while Theodosiy Spasov Folk Quintet will bring a unique blend of Bulgarian folklore and jazz. Villagers of Ioannina City will enchant with psychedelic rock combined with traditional Greek music. Smallman will offer a deep and introspective experience with their combination of heavy rock and Bulgarian folklore, and Haig 's trio Yazdyan will enchant with emotional melodies inspired by the Middle East and Greece.

* The 6th of September has been designated as a Feast of Plovdiv by the decision of the Municipal Council in January 1993. In 2024, 139 years have passed since the Unification of the Principality of Bulgaria and Eastern Rumelia.

**The Unification Monument in Plovdiv was created in 1985, in honor of the 100th anniversary of the Unification of Eastern Rumeliaand the Principality of Bulgaria in 1885. The sculptor is Velichko Minekov.
