EVITA
The Broadway legend Evita by Andrew Lloyd Webber and Tim Rice at the Boris Hristov House of Culture on May 5, at 7 p.m.
In the hit production of Opera Plovdiv, the role of Evita is performed by the fiery Kerana, and Stefan Valdobrev is Che - the main critic, but also the main character's inner voice.
The plot is perhaps the most successful adaptation of the life of Maria Eva Duarte De Peron - the second wife of Argentine President Juan Peron, first lady of
the South American republic for six years until her untimely demise aged just 33 in 1952.
