Bulgarian Folklore Festival - Plovdiv
On 19, 20 and 21 May, for the eighth consecutive year, one of the largest folklore festivals in Bulgaria will be held in Lauta Park.
A huge creative alley of Bulgarian crafts will offer visitors a variety of handmade traditional goods and foods - herbs, tahini, spices, marshmallows, honey, wine, lavender oils and farm products will complement the variety of shirts with embroidery, pottery, woodwork and jewelry.
The Patriotism Committee and the National Tradition Society will present displays of antique weapons, authentic costumes and uniforms, and immerse us in the amazing Bulgarian history!
And this year the organizers have planned free folk dance lessons, ethno-cardio and folk instrument school.
For the youngest visitors there will be a rope park, a wool needlework centre and a children's workshop with three-legged stools and tasks related to Bulgarian culture and mathematics in folk art.

19 May, Friday - from 19:00 - by the tennis tables - host Dinko Nikolov
20 May, Saturday - 19:30 - Stage №1 - hosts "Party Music Plovdiv"
21 May, Sunday - 18:00 - Stage №1 - host DJ Tsetso Yoshev
Hosts of the festival are Veselina Babadzhankova and Dimitar Petrov!
The official opening will be on 19 May, Friday, at 19:00 with a concert of the ensemble Trakiya!
