Anniversary exhibition "5/6/7"

The Society of Plovdiv Artists again presents artists - jubilees in this year's edition of the collective exhibition "5/6/7" curated by Kostadin Otonov.
The exhibition opens on the eve of Archangel's Day - 8 November at 18:00 in Kapana Gallery and will be on view until 27 November 2022.
The play with numbers in the title is related to the round anniversary of the artists - 5, 6 and 7 decades. Each of the numbers is a different colour code - yellow for the 50-year-olds, blue for the 60-year-olds and red for the 'most mature' 70-year-old authors. The total number is 13, something of a rejection of any fatalism associated with age. This time a tribute is paid to two famous authors who did not live to see their jubilee - Assoc. Dechko Dechev (75) and Hristo Stoychev (75).
The youngest among the artists in the exhibition is Georgi Shcherbev, who celebrates his 50th anniversary.
Boris Bogdanov, Boris Stoilov, Angel Geshev, Nikolai Rogachev, Vassil Tenev, Damyan Hristov are 60 years old.
Snezhana Furnadjieva and Emilia Arabadjieva are 70, and Valchan Petrov and Georges Roux are 70+5.
Once again the Plovdiv audience can enjoy a wonderful selection of mature artists who have proven themselves in the artistic life of Plovdiv.
The exhibition is part of the Calendar of Cultural Events and is realized with the financial support of Plovdiv Municipality.
