Two exceptional musicians with a "hit" concert in the Bishop's Basilica of Philippopolis.
Alexander Georgiev and Fabian Homar from Alfa Duo live and work in Austria, this is their first concert in Bulgaria.

On Sunday, July 3, 2022, from 19:00 in the Bishop's Basilica of Philippopolis, Plovdiv residents and guests of the city will have the opportunity to enjoy the debut concert of Alpha Duo and friends who have prepared for the audience a percussion program filled with works by many famous composers, including A. Piazzolla, J. Xenakis, F. Sai, own arrangements and compositions, Bulgarian music, pop and jazz.
Alexander Georgiev and Fabian Homar formed the Alpha Duo in 2011 as students at Anton Bruckner University in Linz, Austria. Their debut concert was then in the world-famous hall of Musicfair - Vienna.
Both are currently respected professors at Gustav Mahler University in Klagenfurt, Austria. The duo gives concerts in Austria and Germany, and this summer they will be happy to present their debut concert in Bulgaria, in a landmark place! Alexander Georgiev is a graduate of the Plovdiv Music School - NUMTI "Dobrin Petkov". He and Fabian Homar invite you to indulge in the magic of percussion instruments in a hall filled with a very ancient history, in which you will find 2 Marimbi, 2 Vibraphones, 5 Set Up, Congi, Bongisu, Tarambuki, Djembeta, Cymbals, Blocks, Shakers, Kashishita, Shekereta and many other musical instruments.
