The photo exhibition "Balkan Shadow Theatre - the road to Plovdiv" presents the beginnings, history and development of the traditional Shadow Theatre in this region. 
The exposition documents the authenticity and richness of the two theatre museums "Karagöz and Hadživat" in Bursa and "Spatario Museum" - Marusi, Greece. It shows the puppets unique to this type of performing art - the characters, the symbolism and their modelling in hand-worked leather.
