The Association of Cynological Societies (ACS) starts off the dog show season for 2022 at the International Fair Plovdiv.

On 2 April (Saturday) and 3 April (Sunday) in front of Pavilion 18 in the Plovdiv International Fair grounds, two national cynological shows for all breeds of dogs will take place. The shows are known as the "Double CAC". In the first CAC the four-legged competitors will compete for the Cup of the Mayor of Plovdiv Municipality, and in the Sunday show for the Plovdiv Cup.

Dogs that receive 2*CAC fulfill the conditions for the CHAMPION OF BULGARIA, the Association informs. Elena Vidyakova (Latvia), Svetlana Alekseyeonok (Latvia), Goran Pesic (Serbia), Victoria Vasilenko (Ukraine), Krasimir Todorov (Bulgaria) and Gancho Ganchev (Bulgaria) will evaluate the qualities of the competitors.

Within the two-day event the organizers of the ACS foresee the holding of four specialized shows: for Bulgarian Shepherd Dog, German Shepherd Dog, Caucasian Shepherd Dog and German Spitz (Pomeranian, Small German Spitz, etc.).

So far more than 250 entries have been received from Bulgarian and foreign participants. 15 clubs from the country are participating with representatives from all breeds. In the Bulgarian Shepherd Dog show 10 clubs have entered.
