Opening of Project 0 – Zlatarska Str., Kapana Quarter

Project 0 (2010-) is an independent project by the artist Kiril Kouzmanov in collaboration with the curator Vladiya Mihailova and Open Arts Foundqtion.
In June 2014 0 Project envisages the construction of a large double mirrored wall to cross the street perpendicular Zlatarska in Kapana Quarter. The double mirror wall is composed of 50 fragments, which for years had been requested by different people from Plovdiv, Bulgaria, Brussels, Augsburg, Vienna, New York City and ect0 fits closely to the relief of the building facades on both sides of the street, with each side of 0 being constructed from 25 fragments – 12 pieces measuring 204×102 cm., and 13 pieces of varying sizes, a total of 50 fragments. The fragments each have a serial number, as well as one fiftieth of all the components that make up 0.
Project 0 will be exhibited for 10 days from 7 to 17 June on Zlatarska street on the cross between Georgi Benkovski and Hristo Dyukmekdzhiev street
