The opening will take place on Wednesday, February 13th, in Regional Ethnographic Museum’s first floor parlour. The exhibition is dedicated to all the regions in Italy, their music and traditions.
The exhibition "Journey Through Italy" introduces us to the specifics of Italian regions through their popular musical tradition. The program also illustrates the geographical, economic and linguistic peculiarities of territories where different musical themes are played.
The whole of the exhibition is completed with the performance of two world-famous musicians - Lorenzo Turchi-Floris (piano) and Carlos De Antonis (tenor).
Lorenzo Turchi-Floris is a pianist, composer and orchestra conductor. Regularly invited as soloist and guest conductor by prestigious orchestras such Orchestre Symphonique de Sion (Switzerland), I Musici Estensi (Italy), Mission Symphony Orchestra (Italy), Mission Chamber Orchestra (Italy), Orchestre Symphonique National du Liban (Lebanon), St Laurent kammerOrchester (Germany). Since 1998 he has been musical director of the Mont Blanc Choir and Symphony Orchestra (France) and since 2008 the artistic director by Musicfor international. Among others, he has participated in the “Summerfest 2018” (Florida-Panama), “43° Cantiere Internazionale d’Arte” (2018 – Montepulciano, Italy), “Summerfest 2017” (Florida-Panama), “Summerfest 2016” (Florida-Panama).
Carlos de Antonis (tenor) is an Argentine opera singer. He began studying music at an early age. He completed his studies in Buenos Aires with Maestro Oscar Ruis. In 2000, he moved to Germany where he was chosen as a tenor for the Berlin Concert Forum. He has performed in 43 cities in Germany in the most important opera theaters (Hamburg, Frankfurt, Berlin). He has had numerous concerts in France, Italy, Spain and Mexico. In 2005 after playing Alfredo in La Traviata with four performances in La Plata, he played the Duke of Mantua in Rigoletto followed by Fenton in Falstaff, Elisir d'Amore, and the Duke of Mantua in Rigoletto in Germany. In 2007, he released his own album called "Del Cuore" (From Heart).
The opening will be on Wednesday, February 13th, at 18:00 in the Regional Ethnographic Museum – Plovdiv.
